Your role

As an Electrotechnical Mechanic at Heras, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining advanced fencing, gate systems and camera, detection and security systems. You will place new installations and resolve acute malfunctions, as well as handle scheduled maintenance and planned repairs. This involves the electrical components of fencing and gate systems.

You drive in a work bus and always have a laptop with you so you can program (e.g. updates and systems). You also perform maintenance without programming, such as replacing switches or cables. You inform the customer of your work, even when you leave. You work using digital receipts and a schedule. This contains instructions and information about the job, and you are supposed to complete the receipt after you have visited the customer. You also keep track of what equipment you use so it can be restocked. Usually you work alone, but sometimes with other ( Mechanical) Mechanics, including on large projects. You work in a region, so it varies how many direct colleagues you have.

• Diploma/certificate in electrical engineering or experience in working with electrical installations
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering and able to read electrotechnical drawings
• Living in the Netherlands or close to the boarder
• Good command of the Dutch language or English language with understanding spoken and written Dutch work instructions
• Customer-oriented an professional work attitude
• Willing to work breakdown shifts
